Heidi had been returning from the library after hours. She had been working on a project and had a pass from a teacher so it didn't matter how late she was out. But unfortunately Heidi had let her mind wander as she walked not paying attention to anything around her. Heidi just so happened to be thinking about the Twins most recent escapade... But unfortunately while her mind was tied up, Heidi ironically walked into the grasp of a mistletoe herself. "Bullocks!" She said angrily.

She had to have been standing there for at least twenty minutes by now. Or maybe it just seemed that long waiting, she didn't know and didn't particularly care all she wanted was to get out of there. But the likeliness of that happening at this hour was slim to none in her mind.

Wait, what happened if she had to go to the bathroom? These kinds of thoughts crossed her mind repeatedly. Heidi sighed in defeat. But in the distance of the hallway Heidi could see a figure walking right in her direction. "Hello? Hello, is anyone out there? Please don't tell me i'm imagining this. I'd hate to go crazy now." She muttered the last part to herself.

The hallways seemed darker than usual. Maybe it was just Heidi's mood that seemed darker. The normally cheerful Hufflepuff was striding down a few flights of stairs with a scowl on her face. Annoyed, Heidi continued to walk down the hallway on the first floor to where she would most likely spend the rest of the night. Working. When the Headmistress had told her the assignment of going into her old office to catalog items that she and a mystery partner found she had almost blown up. There were so many better things she could be doing on a Friday night. But then again she was still curious as to who she would be paired up with to snoop around with. Heidi thought of all the people she wouldn't want to be paired with and shuttered visibly when she pictured being with Crabbe or Goyle.

Heidi tried to think of positives on this idea but she kept drawing a blank. It was McGonagall's old office. What the hell was she going to find in there? Heidi's mind wandered to what she could find there, but noticed after thinking of a few strange items that she didn't really want to know what the Headmistress could have kept there.

When she had finally reached the doorway, Heidi had a complete zen moment where she had calmed herself down and decided to be optimistic about everything. It was the least she could do, given the situation. Because if her partner was angry not trying to calm his or herself down she would be pissed because she would most likely have to do all of the work. Truthfully Heidi was just tired so with as much energy as she could muster up she opened the door to see someone with their back turned to her. "Hello?" She said uncertainly, because she wasn't able to make out the person.

As Heidi glided into the room she was starting to think that she really would be here all night. The guy who she had been partnered with was reading comics and eating. What a wonderful night this was going to turn out to be. Heidi kept her calm though. As soon as she was done with the task ahead the sooner they could both get out. That was her mantra in her head at the moment. Once she heard his voice she knew it sounded familiar, but at the moment she just couldn't place it. Though she did have a few good guesses as to who it could be.

"Will do." Heidi went over to a cabinet near the desk, she wasn't really interested in looking for anything but she wanted to confirm her suspicions about who this bloke was. Heidi pulled out a box filled with what looked like just some old students papers. When she turned around her suspicions were confirmed correct. It was Tim. She hoped she could keep her cool. She sat down on a table to which Tim's back was faced. Crossing her legs to keep her skirt from riding up to far, she sighed and took out a stack of papers to look through.

Heidi looked up from the papers she was holding to Tim as he explained the guidelines of what they were to accomplish by the end of the night. She bit the inside of her lip, just having him this close to her was making her stomach do flip flops. "Bullocks." Was the first thing that came out of her mouth. "With all those bloody rules we really are going to be here all night. Just for that I may take something to piss our lovely Head Girl off now." How was she supposed to survive an entire night in the same room as him without jumping his bones?

She rolled her eyes at his suggestion. "How about we just work together on finding everything? If I let you just write everything down then i'm left with all of the actual work. The faster we get this done the sooner we can get out of here." Heidi swung her legs over the side of the table and hopped off of it,accidentally brushing his shoulder as she walked past. Heidi ran a nervous hand through her hair.A few steps before she reached the closet again she noticed that she seemed to be adding a bit more sway to her step.

Heidi nodded in agreement. "The question is, will there be anything worth taking?" But what could their be worth pinching out of the Headmistresses old office? Heidi didn't think there would be much to find at all other than old Transfiguration exams. Come on what was she going to find, Play-Witch Magazines?

She could practically feel his body an inch from hers and her breath hitched slightly. Heidi hoped he wouldn't notice the slight change in her breathing patter. But she didn't do anything to stop him from moving closer if he wanted. When Tim reached over her shoulder Heidi's breath caught in her throat. She cursed him for being so observant over all surely he wouldn't have missed that. Heidi regained her composure before turning around facing him now. She raised an eyebrow at him and a small grin played on her lips before she walked around him to a set of cabinets.

Heidi wasn't one to be a slag and just going to give herself away easily to just anyone. Even if she had been crushing on him for a while. A long while. She opened an upper cabinet it was a bit of a reach for her but she got it. As she emptied another box filled with what looked magazines and papers. "Wins what exactly?" Competition was Heidi's one major weakness. It could bring out a more confident Heidi.

She placed her box on the ground and knelt next to it. It was easier than wasting precious time to go get a chair. Her skirt rode up a bit but Heidi barely even noticed as she began to sort through the items in her box. There were a few interesting magazines to be found in this box. PlayWitch. Heidi stopped all of her searching and began to laugh in disbelief.

Heidi squirmed under his stare. "I do say your right about her not being my type." She's definitely not you, Heidi thought. "If I give you my prize then what do I get out of it? You get my prize and i'm left with the satisfaction of winning? Give me one good reason I should give it to you." She wondered if he would actually bargain for it. If he did, that make Heidi wonder what he did in his spare time.

"Wait, why does Mcgonagall have PlayWitch in her old office?" She paused for a moment. "No don't actually answer that I don't want to know." Heidi's discomfort help her regain some of her non naughty thoughts.

-Reply-

Heidi at that moment cursed her better nature. She surely didn't want the magazines, and he seemed just generally curious about that one. So of course she had to find out. "I'll make you a deal, you tell me the real why you want this one magazine," She pointed to the one on top. "And i'll give it to you. Easy as that." Heidi normally wasn't this determined but she was overly curious now plus, she didn't really want to be viewed as a push over by Tim.

She held the magazine out but held it just out of reach. Heidi was glad she had chaser reflexes so she would be able to keep it away from him until he told her what she wanted to know. "Sure, I believe that as much as I believe Smith would masturbate to work out his the kinks in his wrist." She said sarcastically.
