Jack had been in his room all day within the confines of his bed. He was working tirelessly on the execution of "Plan: Go see how Colin is doing in Hospital Wing" or P: GSCIHW. He didn't have time to focus on giving it a better name. No, he didn't have enough time to plan and then be creative. It was one or the other. He hoped planning was the way to go. He knew that the miniature golf course would be all about creativity. So he'd save his creativity for then. Now Jack was just tweaking a few last minute adjustments. Like what Euan and himself would be wearing, the most effective route to Colin without running into teachers, the works.
He looked down at the condensed notes that he had to go over with Euan before they even attempted to go ahead with this plan. He knew that his roommate would be surprised with the amount of effort that he put into all of his plans. It was strange to see Jack working extremely hard on anything most of the time. He did have a short attention span, it was one of the few things most of the Gryffs gave him grief about. No doubt about that. But as Jack looked down at his planning he knew that he had every base covered. Well almost every base. He needed to see Euan and fairly soon.
Jack got off of his bed and began to change his clothes into something black. As soon as he slipped on his leather trousers, adrenaline began to leak into his system. This was the reason why he needed Euan to arrive soon, he needed to put his excess energy into use. After five minutes of pacing around the dorm, Jack yelled into the common room, "Euan! I can't find my pants, I need your help finding them! Get up here now!" He quickly shut the door behind him and waited for Euan to come upstairs from the common room. Grinning he knew it was only a matter of moments until he would pull a James Bond! Being all stealth, sneaking around, just the thought alone gave him an extra boost of adrenaline. Jack flopped down on the bed and attempted to slow his erratic heart beat as he waited Euan's arrival.

Jack flung himself off of his bed. Once he was standing it was clear that he was anxious and excited for the adventure at hand. But he looked at Euan's choice of attire very closely, not caring if he made the boy uncomfortable by doing so. Jack strolled over to his trunk and pulled out several items and rushed over to Euan with them all on his arms. He was close enough to Euan that they could have done then tango if they wanted to. He held a few items up to Euan without looking at his face at all, and he pulled his wand out of the waistband of his pants and put a few charms on them.
"Here, put these on. You've got a pair of gloves here, sorry they're leather like everything else I own." He chuckled but then regained his attempted serious face, it wasn't very good. Then he handed Euan, "The only pair of black trousers I own that aren't leather, I charmed them to fit whatever size you are. Plus they won't be skin tight like my own. I don't think thats your style. But since they're loose I had to place a silencing charm on them too. Can't have them making any noise."
Jack looked at Euan as if he had just told a first year that Santa didn't come to Hogwarts at Christmas. Are you saying you've never watched a James Bond movie in your life? Thats inhuman and something that we are going to have to change as soon as we get out of this bloody castle but we'll talk about that later." Jack got back to the topic at hand "Agent 007 sort of dresses like this. A close imitation, but unfortunately he's normally doing undercover work."

Jack thought about how describe a muggle secret agent to a pureblood wizard. "He was sort of like an Unspeakable. Secret missions, high priority, but with lots of girls." Jack could practically feel the waves of nervousness coming off of Euan. Though he did grin when Euan asked about his plan.
Jack jumped away from Euan and scurried over to his bed, looking through the mess on top of it for his piece of parchment. "Eureka! I've found it." He grinned and hurried back over to Euan and jumped onto his bed and laid the plan out in front of him. "We have to wait until curfew and everyone to clear out of the common room first..." Jack explained the entire plan in length which included quite a bit of double-backing and stealth techniques that Jack hadn't put to use yet, it was quite thought out. But it took some time to explain out with all of Jack's normal quips added in. So it was already passed curfew already and they just had to wait for the common room to clear out.
"I don't know who'll be on watch tonight all I know is that it was Slughorn yesterday and if i'm correct on the regular rotation of the teachers I think McGonagall will be on watch tonight. Of course Flich and Mrs.Norris will be something that we'll have to watch out for too." Jack thought out loud. He turned and looked at Euan, "You catch all of that plan?"

Jack's anticipation flowed off him in almost visible waves as he saw Euan nod his head for the all clear. It was almost too good to be true. What he loved most about pulling some stunt was the adrenaline running through his system at all time heights. Ever since the Weasley twin brother had been back into the school it just wasn't the same for Jack. He hated having to compete with them, they were the best of the best.
But now this was the first real thrill that Jack was going to have since they arrived. It was too long. Jack tip toed out of the dorm keeping himself plastered against the wall. Even if there wasn't anyone down there it didn't hurt to be cautious. Once he arrived at the bottom stair he looked behind him to see if Euan was following or not. But it was too dark to see, and he didn't dare risk turning on a light. He might as well move ahead and wait for him at the portrait and that is exactly what he did. Jack rolled across the floor and waited until he could see a dark shadow making its way down the stairs.
